Teacher Support
On Give FFA Day, students aren't the only ones on our minds. Teachers are also top of mind because we know that a good teacher is the backbone of a strong agricultural education program. At National FFA, we are working to empower teachers with the tools they need to succeed and impact students.
Teacher support donations help National FFA provide educator resources to all 14,490 agriculture educators at no cost to them. These turn-key lesson plans and educational materials ensure teachers are prepared to educate students on various relevant topics.
Donations also help fund the National Teacher Ambassadors for FFA program, providing professional support and development to fight burnout and improve teacher retention rates.
We also serve teachers whose agricultural education programs are at risk of being downsized or eliminated. National FFA works to equip teachers with the skills to influence and articulate the value of agricultural education and FFA to administrators, school boards, guidance counselors and parents.
Your contribution to support teachers underwrites programs such as the Team Ag Ed Inservice, which brings state FFA staff, teachers and alumni together to share best practices.
Just as FFA works to ensure members develop the knowledge and skills required in the workforce, teachers also need opportunities to develop new skills and seek assistance. Your gifts will help ensure that they receive the support and resources they need.
