GIVE THE GIFT OF BLUE
“When I wear the FFA jacket, I feel a sense of pride and responsibility, for I am proud to show my skills in agriculture and understand that I am representing not only my school but a national organization. This jacket is greater than the threads that hold it together; it is a means of connection, honor and the way I found where I belong.” — Give the Gift of Blue recipient from Arizona
Beyond its place in Official Dress, an FFA corduroy jacket is an article of faith, honor and pride. There are many ways to lead, but the FFA way stands out among all others. The FFA blue jacket is a symbol of this distinction. With the Give the Gift of Blue program, FFA donors have helped provide more than 19,000 blue jackets to FFA members in need who are each reminded that they are a part of something bigger than themselves. This support inspires them to learn, grow and serve. The jacket unifies members in a long-standing tradition and reminds them that they are part of something bigger than themselves. Let’s give every member the chance to be part of the tradition. With the help of generous donations, National FFA gives jackets to members who would not otherwise be able to own their own. A donation of any amount helps, but a gift of $85 provides one FFA member with a personalized FFA jacket and scarf or tie.
